Travelling with people you love makes for unforgettable adventures, and stories that you will be telling forever! Here are some of the most beautiful places in the world which are best seen with your friends.

1. Salar De Uyuni, Bolivia

The Salar de Uyuni, or Uyuni salt flat is the largest salt flat in the world at 10582 square kilometers. The sight of it is completely surreal. The Bolivian altiplano houses several species of flamingos as well. It makes for the coolest travel pictures between the clear skies and the reflective water that covers the thick salt crust. A truly unique place you should definitely cross off your bucket list!

2. Antelope Canyon, USA

The Antelope Canyon has been photographed by National Geographic many times, and for a good reason! Its unique colours and shapes are completely natural and make it one of the most beautiful places in the world. The Canyon is located on Navaro land east of Page, Arizona. It has only been accessible to the general public since 1997 and only via guided tour. Imagine all the beautiful holiday shots you could take here!

3. Vaadhoo Island, Maldives

You can bathe in the stars on Vaadhoo Island. Really! The islands are infamously gorgeous during daytime with their clear waters, white sand, clear skies and relaxing ambience. Come night time, the beaches look like something from another planet. The plankton in the water reacts to movement by lighting up in a gorgeous blue hue – this reaction is called bioluminescence and it needs to be seen to be believed!

4. Pamukkale, Turkey

Pamukkale is a natural site in Turkey’s Inner Aegean region, in the River Menderes valley. Its unique look attracts many people each year. The name literally translates to “cotton castle”, which sounds as dreamy as it looks!

5. The Great Barrier Reef, Australia

The Great Barrier Reef is the world’s largest coral reef system and is composed of over 2900 coral reefs and 900 islands. It hosts so much unique life in one place that it was declared a World Heritage site. Who wouldn’t enjoy a snorkelling session with friends here?

6. Lagunas Escondidas de San Pedro de Atacama, Chile

The Lagunas de Baltinache, or Lagunas Escondidas are 7 bright blue lagoons in the middle of the driest desert in the world. Being there feels like a miracle – if you can find them. The name literally translates to “hidden lagoons”. The lagoons are saltier than the dead sea which means that you always float. The silence and the breathtaking views ensure that you will be the most relaxed you have ever been!

Have you been to any of these places? If so, which one was your favourite?
