You have probably heard of this theme park before, but we just couldn’t leave it off the list.
It is actually two theme parks in one – Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure. If you are looking to revisit some of your all-time favourite movies while feeling like you are immersed in a real film set all day long, then this is the destination for you. Whether it’s The Simpsons, Jurassic Park or Harry Potter World, you’ll have a lot of options to make it a holiday to remember.

Tivoli Gardens, Denmark


This unusual amusement park is among the oldest in the world! It has opened its doors to thrill-seeking visitors in 1843 and has been successful ever since.
The park is still operating its original rollercoaster, the “Rutschebanen”, which has an authentic, vintage feel to it. If this isn’t enough for you, “The Demon” or “Dæmonen” is a steel rollercoaster with floorless cars, which offers a unique ride.
Tivoli Gardens is located in the beautiful city of Copenhagen and also features Orient-inspired buildings, a theatre, cafes and a flower garden, among other attractions.

PortAventura World, Spain


The PortAventura World park is less than an hour and a half away from beautiful Barcelona, and it is really worth the trip if you are into thrilling rides!
If you dare, you and your friends can test your limits on one of the world’s tallest drops – at 330 feet – as you choose between a standard seat, a tilting seat, or a standing ‘seat’. With all its crazy rides, this adventure park is not for the faint of heart!

Beto Carrero World, Santa Catarina, Brazil


Beto Carrero World is Latin America’s largest theme park, and a must-see when you’re in Penha, Brazil. Named after its creator, it is a place for fun-seekers everywhere. It is known for its distinct colourful appearance and large size, as it stretches over 3500 acres.
The park is so big, that it is divided into several regions, with four rollercoasters, including the infamous Fire Whip.
The park also features Universal Studios- and DreamWorks-themed attractions, such as the stunt car show based on The Fast and the Furious.

Alton Towers Resort, United Kingdom


The Alton Towers Resort theme park has become somewhat iconic in the UK. It has been running since 1980 and has been hugely successful ever since. The park is known for its thrilling rides that aren’t for the faint of heart, but also offers family-friendly fun. The themes within the park range from Caribbean-inspired rides to paradisiac sights so everyone will find something they enjoy.
It also features a hotel complex and a water park, to provide a complete holiday experience.
The park is located in Staffordshire, England, and provides fun adventure options and relaxation for all ages.
